After that first year, DeLyne joined the Camp leadership team where she quickly became known as "the one who does the t-shirts" (and other marketing materials). She is excited to share her faith with the youth, and although she's always had strong people in her life showing her the faith, feels we don't give young people enough credit for being able to understand the tough stuff. Camp Savio is just that place. She loves seeing kids leave Camp on fire for their faith and return the next year with more friends, or even joining the staff! DeLyne works full time in Retail Marketing. She and her husband Troy have been married for 30 years and have 2 children, and one Granddaughter. She loves going to movies and spending time with her extended family.

Aloha! I'm Tim Volk, Co-Founder of Camp Savio. Camp Savio was built on three foundational pillars: Prayer, Community, and Christ’s Love. Aloha! I'm Tim Volk, Co-Founder of Camp Savio. Camp Savio was built on three foundational pillars: Prayer, Community, and Christ’s Love. Prayer is at the heart of everything we do—this is a "God Camp," where we seek His guidance and wisdom in everything we create. Community is at the core of our mission, as we invite others and families to join in and experience the love of Christ together. Our goal is to place God at the center, with community surrounding and Christ’s love enveloping all.
This deep love for the camp has been passed down through my family over the years. As a father of four and a husband to an amazing woman, I am profoundly grateful for the work of the Holy Spirit, the intercession of Mary, the saints, and all holy men and women. Thanks be to God, Camp Savio continues to be a place of authentic discipleship.
I strive to be mentally focused, physically fit, and spiritually sound—always rooted in my love for my family, my country, and my faith. I cherish traveling and spending time with my children, especially coaching them in soccer and watching them play.
I’ve had the privilege of serving the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph for over 20 years, lived in Hawaii for four, and now reside in the Saint Louis area. It’s been a remarkable journey filled with blessings and grace, and I’m excited to see where God leads next.

Rachel Hansen serves as the Parish Outreach Manager for Catholic Charities of Kansas City – St. Joseph. She is grateful to a part of the Camp Bosco Leadership Team! Her home parish is St. Gabriel the Archangel. Rachel is passionate about integrating Christ into all that we do. When we live the Gospel in a tangible way through our everyday, it becomes very real – from serving families in need, sharing a smile to a stranger, receiving the rays of Vitamin E(ucharist) in adoration, preserving in faith when the cross becomes heavy, and everything in-between. As we approach this summer, may we live out the Gospel and be inspired by the words of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, “Stay where you are. Find your own Calcutta.”
