Reconciliation

photos3

Every camper has the opportunity to go to reconciliation during camp.

As Catholics, reconciliation is one of the most important things we have. Through reconciliation, we return to God, He wipes away our sins, and He gives us graces that help us to resist temptation. It’s a very powerful Sacrament.

1 John 1:8-9 If we say, “We are without sin,” we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing.

John 20:21-23 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”
